This meeting was also the opportunity to present for the very first time the new Stago Practical manual series dedicated to Scores and Algorithm in Thrombosis and Haemostasis. An international expert panel has developed this scientific material, based on an original Spanish initiative supported last year by Stago Spain. This booklet contains around 30 scores and algorithms useful for physician's daily practice.
The Stago symposium co-chaired by Prof. Jose Paramo (Pamplona, Spain), and Dr Alberto Tosetto (Vicenza, Italy), two of the booklet contributors emphasized the growing importance of scores and algorithms in patient's management. The topic was welcomed by Congress participants, as symposium's attendance demonstrated.
The next ICT / MLDT meeting will be held in Istanbul (Turkey) in 2016.
